The following is an announcement from the Arkansas Passport Center

Effective IMMEDIATELY: As you are aware, the Real ID deadline is quickly approaching; Passport Books and Passport Cards are qualified as Real ID documents. With the DMVs around the country backlogged with Real ID requests, PPT is expecting an uptick in business for Real ID applicants.

Effective May 4, 2025: All Visitors to the Arkansas Passport Center MUST HAVE REAL ID! This does not apply to employees, nor will it apply to counter applicants. Again, ANY visitors to the Arkansas Passport Center will be REQUIRED to have Real ID to enter the building as of May 4, 2025.
