The Entertainment Foundation is proud to announce its latest recipients of the TEF Spotlight Award.  This honor showcases the hard working and dedicated individuals with whom they interact and who bring their special talents and knowledge to enriching the lives of their residents.

The Entertainment Foundation met Jennifer Keathley during its first year of shows in 2019.  She has been employed at several facilities in those transitional years but found her home at The Atrium at Serenity Pointe as Assistant Activities Director in 2023.

When asked what she liked about being an (Assistant) Activities Director, Jennifer responded that her favorite part was being with the residents and making their lives better.  “I love seeing their smiling faces and enjoying life.  Activities for senior adults are so important to get them out of their rooms, interacting with each other, and adding value to their well-being.”

TEF also met Dee King in 2019 when she was the Assistant Activities Director at The Atrium at Serenity Pointe, then promoted to Activities Director in 2021.  Dee noted,  "The Atrium is a special place and we love to get them active and engaged so that they may experience their best lives."

Both Dee and Jennifer really enjoy working with The Entertainment Foundation as Dee states, “It is an easy-to-work-with, one-of-a-kind organization, which brings quality entertainers to the table.  What more could we ask for!”
