Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center Announces the 2026 Sunshine Eggstravaganza
Hot Springs / Pearcy, AR — [March 5, 2026) — Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center (STRC), Garland County’s nonprofit leader in equine-assisted services, is excited to announce its annual Sunshine Eggstravaganza on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center campus, 4992 Sunshine Road in Pearcy.
This family-centered event welcomes children of all abilities — including those with special needs — and their families for an afternoon of springtime fun, connection, and community. The egg hunt is free, but registration is required due to limited tickets for each age group and ability level.
Event Highlights Include:
• Free, inclusive Easter egg hunts timed by age/ability — beginning with a special session for children with special needs and their families followed by hunts for multiple age groups.
• The Easter Bunny available for free photos (bring your camera or cell phone).
• Hayrides, carnival games, and crafts available for purchase on-site.
• Easter-themed snacks available at a nominal cost, with activity ticket bundles purchasable at registration or at the event.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together in an environment where every child can participate and feel included,” said Katja Summerlin, Founder & Executive Director of Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center. “This event reflects our mission to create accessible experiences that foster connection, joy, and belonging.”
The event supports the broader mission of Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving lives through the therapeutic power of horses, including equine-assisted learning, hippotherapy, and equine-assisted psychotherapy.
Registration & Participation: Registration for the sunshine egg hunt and activity tickets is now open online. Families are encouraged to reserve their space early due to limited availability. Parents or guardians should include their name and contact information for each ticket requested at registration.
