Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association Announces New General Manager

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, AR - December 20, 2024: The Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association (HSVPOA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Unger as the new General Manager of Hot Springs Village, effective January 1, 2025. 

Ken Unger, who has served as the Director of HSVPOA Public Services for the past two years and eight months, brings a wealth of experience in public services management and infrastructure development to his new role. During his tenure as Director of Public Services, Unger has demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing critical infrastructure projects, implementing operational efficiencies, and fostering community engagement. His responsibilities included overseeing water, sewer, sanitation, public works, facilities management, lakes, dams, and common property. 

This diverse skill set positions him well to address the Village's infrastructure needs and guide its future growth. “The mission of our Public Services team is to help ensure our infrastructure is on a reliable and sustainable path that supports our needs today and in the future," Unger stated, highlighting his commitment to the Village's long-term success. 

His appointment follows an extensive national search that involved reviewing 26 resumes and conducting multiple rounds of interviews. Unger's background includes a civil engineering degree and significant experience as a director at Verizon in operations, engineering, and network performance. 

The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude to outgoing General Manager Kelly Hale for his dedicated service over the past three years. Hale's contributions have led to significant improvements in Village operations and will have a lasting impact on the community. As Ken Unger transitions into his new role, the HSVPOA Board of Directors is confident in his ability to lead Hot Springs Village into a promising future, building on his proven record of effective management and community-focused leadership.
