From the City of Hot Springs: Due to dropping temperatures and hazardous road conditions, the City of Hot Springs administrative offices and departments will be closed TODAY, Thursday, January 9, at 3:00 PM. Transportation services will operate snow routes between 3 PM and 8 PM, unless street conditions continue to deteriorate. The Hot Springs Fire and Police departments, as well as other essential offices, will remain open. the 24-hour emergency on-call number for water and sewer problems is (501) 321-6200.

From Garland County Judge Darryl Mahoney: Non-essential offices for Garland County will be closing at 3 PM today and will remain closed Friday. Please stay in the comfort of your home, where it is warm and safe until travel becomes safe.
