City Accepting Applications for Advisory Committees and Commissions
The City of Hot Springs City Clerk’s Office is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on various City advisory committees and commissions. Applications will be accepted through noon on Friday, September 18, 2026.
Unless otherwise specified, applicants must be registered voters of the City of Hot Springs and must be available to participate in the scheduled applicant interviews.
Current vacancies include:
- Animal Control Advisory Committee – Two openings for City residents
- Historic District Commission – One opening for an owner, officer or stockholder of real property or a business located within the Central Avenue Historic District
- Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee – One opening for a City resident
- Planning Commission – One opening for a District 5 resident
- Towing Service Advisory Committee – One opening for a City resident
- Transportation Advisory Committee – One opening
The Hot Springs Board of Directors will interview applicants during a Special Called Meeting on Tuesday, September 29, prior to the Board’s 4 p.m. Agenda Meeting. Appointments are scheduled to be made during the Board of Directors meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6.
