Alzheimer’s Arkansas invites you to come out for the Hot Springs Walk and H2GO Fun Run on September 23rd at 8:30 a.m. at Garven Gardens on Arkridge Road in Hot Springs. Proceeds from the event remain in Arkansas and help to fund free programs, resources, and services for Arkansas families affected by Alzheimer’s and related forms of dementia.

A suggested donation of $25 gets you an event t-shirt while supplies last! There will be a door prize raffle, awards for teams and individuals, and there is a walk team banner competition. Volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and participants are needed.

Alzheimer’s Arkansas is an independent non-profit 501(3)(c) organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Incorporated in 1984, this year marks their 39th Anniversary of supporting Arkansas families. Alzheimer’s Arkansas wants caregivers to know they are not alone in their journey. They offer resources and support through support groups held throughout the state, telephone and in -person meetings, financial assistance, a lending library, caregiver respite activities and education, community awareness presentations, and educational workshops.
