Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Communications Manager

March 22, 2024 – The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce announces the addition of Hannah Rohrer to its staff. Rohrer will fill the role of Marketing/Communications Manager and is looking forward to serving the people of Hot Springs.

In this role, Rohrer will spearhead the Chamber’s communication strategies, utilizing her skills and insights gained through her academic journey and community involvement, foster a positive relationship with businesses and consistently execute creative email and social media content.

“I am thrilled to welcome Hannah as our new Marketing/Communications Manager. She embodies the spirit of our commitment to our membership and has the talent to drive our Chamber into the digital age as we continue to grow,” said Vickie Gilliam, Chamber Vice President.

Rohrer joins the team after her recent graduation from the University of Central Arkansas in December 2023. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism with a minor in public relations. Her expertise in social media and story-telling comes from her college background, as well as her invaluable, skill-enhancing internship with the Jonesboro Sun that she tackled in her time there.

“Hannah's unique combination of youthfulness and expertise on various platforms brings a fresh perspective to the Chamber's social media strategy. Her tactful handling of different channels of social media reflects her commitment to keeping the Chamber's communication approach both modern and refined, and we welcome her to our 5-Star Chamber team,” said Chamber President/CEO Gary Troutman.

Born in Paragould, Rohrer was raised in Imboden before moving to Pocahontas and she graduated from Sloan-Hendrix High School. She has spent the last three years in Conway before taking a leap of faith and moving to Hot Springs in early February. She loves the city’s atmosphere and says it “feels like home already.”

She has six siblings and says having a big family has helped strengthen her communication skills. Rohrer has played softball her entire life, loves to spend time with friends and family, and says reading is her favorite hobby, stating that she often reads one or two books a weekend.
