Chamber Announces New Vice President
(Hot Springs, AR) July 26, 2022 – The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce announces the addition of Vickie Gilliam to its staff. Gilliam will fill the role of Vice President of the Chamber and is looking forward to serving the people of Hot Springs.
In this role, Gilliam will provide management and oversight to all Chamber programs including events, membership, revenue generation, personnel, facilities, as well as relationships with nearly 1,000 Chamber members.
“I love Hot Springs, and I love people,” Gilliam said. “I feel very blessed to be given the opportunity to serve the businesses in the Hot Springs and Garland County area. I look forward to building a strong community by helping our small businesses and larger industries thrive here.”
Gilliam has much experience working the business community. She comes to the Chamber from Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union where she worked as the business/community development coordinator for 10 years. She also has 20 years total experience at The Sentinel-Record, where she worked with businesses in advertising sales. She also worked at the Benton Courier and as the ad manager for the Arkadelphia Siftings Herald.

Born in Walnut Ridge, Gilliam moved to Hot Springs as a child and graduated from Cutter Morning Star High School. She said she is most looking forward to helping her hometown grow and thrive by being a part of a team that builds a better business and economic climate for the region.
When not at work, Gilliam likes to camp and travel with her family, which includes her husband, Richard, and daughter, Brittni Terlecki. She also loves playing with her Boston terrier, Dexter.
